Sorry all, I’ve been away on a business trip for the better part a few weeks.
We’ll be back to our regularily scheduled program soon.

One thing I’ve noticed, which I find very strange is the rates of people religious and non-religious (especailly non-religous people) who get offended when I don’t reply “Happy Easter” or “Merry Christmas” to them. I mean they get really offended to the point where they will repeat saying “Happy Easter” or “Merry Christmas” over and over pointedly as a passive-aggressive way of getting me to reply in the same way.

I’ve been hearing some pretty horrible things regarding dating and relationships on Twitter and Tumblr lately.
Here’s a small list:
Hello readers!
We’ve got several new projects happening here at Insufferable Intolerance.
Firstly, The Self Harm Experiences Project: Insufferable Intolerance is a looking for submissions from individuals who have had experiences relating to self harm/self injury/eating disorders/depression/anxiety.
It’s that season again! The season the majority of people seem to think revolves purely around Christmas forgetting the rest of the holidays and where people get shitty when I say Happy Holidays instead of Merry Christmas.
Wonderful.
Christmas brings out the bitchy jerk in me, I tend to think of it less as a religious and/or family orientated holiday and more That Commercial Bastardisation Of Stolen Pagan Rituals Where I Can Buy My Childs Love And Still Call Myself Religious Even Though I Only Go To Church Once Per Year On This Day type holiday.
Slut shames women for saying yes.
Friendzone shames women for saying no.
Bitch shames womens for saying no to you.
Slut: A person of any gender who has the courage to lead life according to the radical proposition that sex is nice and pleasure is good for you – Dossie Easton.
It is funny when people call me a slut as if they think it’s an insult.
Ha!
What a compliment.
Title also known as: I hate each and every one of you that does this.
You’re not getting a disclaimer today. Most people I know hate each and every one of you that does this as well.
Today’s topic is one that can get me angry just by thinking about it.
Impulse buying animals, particularly at Christmas time which will inevitably lead to said animals being taken to the pound or local no-kill shelter which due to the influx of animals at the end of the year will outsource them to kill shelters or local universities for research or to be used in training veterinary students.
Quick update: I’ll be on holiday soon for a week or so. I’m looking into automatic updating at the moment for when I’m away. I have a whole bunch of posts in my back log which I can set to auto post once per day. Never fear readers! You shall have more grumpy content while I’m avoiding the sun in a different location.
Also if anyone has any topics they’d like discussed, feel free to leave a comment or message me on the Insufferable Intolerance Blog Facebook and/or Twitter page.
In the meantime – here’s my cat Lenore as a kitten.
Don’t forget to subscribe to my RSS Feed on the left hand side of the site by clicking the orange icon to get more posts from me.

I promised in an earlier post that would speak about barriers to obtaining goals and the difference between those who talk and those who walk and I forgot. Oops. My apologies, let’s move on.
This has been quite an annoying subject over the years, mainly because there are so many offenders of this in my life.
Don’t tell me about your goals or the things you want to do with your life, if you aren’t willing to take any steps to achieve them.
Don’t get me wrong. I love hearing about a persons goals and their plans for the future so I can support them but I often I hear people prattle on about how they wish they could change their situation with utterly no intention of doing anything proactive to implement change.
People seem to do this for a number of reasons:

It’s that time again..
Yes everyone, it’s that time where slacktavists unite to feel good about themselves by posting statuses on Facebook that (apparently) are meant to raise awareness about breast cancer without ever mentioning the fact it’s about breast cancer.
Because we’re all mind readers, you know? SUCH MAGIC!
